Director of Resident Services
The Director of Resident Services establishes the personal care programs for residents by coordinating and evaluating resident care needs to ensure a balanced and adequate program, and to formulating progressive care needs to meet the changing needs of the resident. Their primary objective is to ensure the highest possible quality of care, service and resident satisfaction while maintaining maximum occupancy and smooth department operation within budget. Health and Wellness Manager The Health and Wellness Manager provides care in residential care facility for the elderly by coordinating and evaluating resident care needs to ensure a balanced and adequate program, and to formulating progressive care needs to meet the changing needs of the resident. They also ensure the highest possible quality of care, service and resident satisfaction while maintaining maximum occupancy and smooth department operation within budget. Medication Manager The Medication Manager provides overall direction, coordination and staff coverage of this unit. The position directly supervises the Medication Technicians, including hiring, directing, training, and scheduling. The occupant will ensure the highest possible quality of care, services and resident satisfaction. Resident Liaison The Resident Liaison is responsible for ensuring quality care for residents through coordination of services, assessments, counseling and community referrals. The Resident Liaison demonstrates on-going efforts to enhance and maintain resident satisfaction in the Community through resident and family case management and advocacy. Nurse – LVN The Nurse provides prescribed medical treatment and personal care services to ill, injured, convalescing, and disabled persons in a Community in accordance with the guidelines established by State Regulations, especially those identified by Title 22 of the Department of Social Services and within the scope of licensing regulations. Personal Care Aide The Personal Care Aide works closely with residents as the liaison between meeting their needs and the resources of the Community. The Aide operates through the Personal Services Plan identified for their residents and delivers the services identified through that plan. Lead Personal Care Aide The Lead Personal Care Aide works closely with residents as the liaison between meeting their needs and the resources of the Community, operating through the Personal Services Plan identified for their residents and delivers the services identified through that plan. In addition, this job has some supervisory responsibilities in the areas of training, staffing, assigning and directing work, and making sure to report all issues to the department manager Medication Technician The Medication Technician takes responsibility for the distribution of medication to residents according to the written instructions provided by physicians.
